Inspiration

The container terminal Enns is one of the most up-to-date and important terminal locations in Austria. Located on the Danube, it brings together rail, road and water transport. The extensive modernisation and extension work was completed in February. One particular challenge was to replace the existing floodlight poles and plan a whole new basic lighting concept. In addition, the tracks and the visible separation of the individual tracks were optimised using illuminated handrails. The project was handled through our partner and electrical wholesaler Limmert. 2,676 lights from the BILTONONE 300 series were used. This meant a total of around 2,800 m of Plug & Play modules installed in profiles – with matching covers and IP 67 protection through PU socketing. With BILTON, all of the components are perfectly matched and available from a single source.
