World of Light
Gefässerie / plant lighting
Plants need light to produce organic compounds. The conversion of light into organic compounds is done by the chlorophyll (the leaf green) by absorbing light. The second step is the conversion of electromagnetic energy, i.e. light, into chemical energy. During this process, oxygen, which is important for our ecosystem, is also produced and released by the plant.
Special lamps are often used to replace the missing sunlight. Specific requirements, such as a high proportion of blue light, need to be taken into account. In this project, specially developed BILTON LED modules - which meet all requirements for plant lighting - were used. In addition, the luminaire supports were designed in such a way that they can be folded and adjusted to ensure optimum illumination.
